James cushion in Boston
A square, two-tone cushion in silk velvet.
The James cushion is part of the Endless range, a permanent collection that complements the silk velvet ranges.
Endless is a calming collection that celebrates those moments where time feels suspended. The fabrics are warm, enveloping and comfortable and will breathe new life into your home.
The James cushion is made from a fluid, sensual, supple velvet normally reserved for use in clothing. We have been using it in our designs since the start of the decade.
Made entirely from silk selected for its artisanal qualities (hand-woven and undyed), the fabric has none of the heaviness traditionally associated with velvet.
The James is a square version of the silk velvet Goa cushion. The coloured side panel gives the cushion a twist, allowing for unexpected colour combinations to brighten up a sofa or a bed. Anything but square!
Combines perfectly with the Aodha mohair throw.
At Le Monde Sauvage, we seek to understand diverse cultures and to make discoveries that are both unusual and surprising. In order to do this, we travel the Asian continent where each and every region is defined by a singular culture and a set of different traditions. We discover traditional craftsmanship that lives on in the hands of experts who alone know how to work with the materials that are local to their region. Over time, Le Monde Sauvage has developed an ability to source objects of quality and has built long-term relationships with producers and artisans that still exist today. Continuity is the key to maintaining the quality of our products and the way that they are made.
