Changpa linen throw in Catane
The Changpa throw is made from thick linen with a vigorous density. The weave mixes four shades of thread for a mottled effect that contrasts with the coloured signature band around the edge. Finished with fringed edges.
We select long fibres to create quality pieces. These fibres vary depending on the harvest, which explains why the plaids may give back excess material when they are first washed, without affecting the quality of the product.
This product is part of Respire, a sustainable collection of European linen, certified European Flax® and Oeko-Tex®. These labels guarantee the traceability of premium quality linen grown in Europe and the absence of toxic products for the body and the environment.
The Changpa plaid takes its name from the nomadic Tibetan tribe who live off pastoralism in the Changtang highlands. Like a sophisticated blanket, it drapes your bed in heavy, comforting linen. You can wrap yourself in it with a book by the fire or use it to cover the sofa. A refined reinvention of the traditional loom blanket.
